request the pleasure of your presence at the Symposium on HIV Disease: A Chronic Manageable Illness

The Unison Medicare & Research Centre, is the country's first Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Care Clinic. It has organized a Symposium on "HIV/AIDS: A Chronic Manageable Illness" to mark six years completion of its compassionate and rationale care, on 18th March 2001. One of the renowned HIV/AIDS Clinicians- Dr. Hans Jaeger; whose brainchild KIS - Curatorium for Immune deficiency, Munich, Germany, has been copied in making of Unison Medicare, will be the main speaker.

Issues related to - When to start Anti-retroviral therapy? Salvage possibilities, Structured Therapy Interruptions, Side Effects and Toxicity and Anti-retroviral therapy in resource - poor settings will be discussed. The following imminent experts managing HIV/AIDS patients will deliberate on relevant topics to enthuse confidence and to boost up clinical acumen of caring doctors to utilize their services towards increasing the quality of patient-survival in the HIV/AIDS management capital of India:

  • Dr. K. R. Damania (Obstetrician)

  • Dr. R  H. Merchant (Pediatrician)

  • Dr. I. S. Gilada and Dr. D. G. Saple (HIV specialists)
