A human being or in fact everybody and everything is in perfect condition when it is in harmony with the universe, when this balance is unsettled because of anything say pollution, accidents, emotional stress, eating habits etc, then diseases, pains are experienced. To get rid of these imbalances body, mind need extra energy. This energy can be provided by Reiki channels and help the body and mind to be in harmony with the universe again.

Just curiosity forced me to join a course on Reiki. It was an experience in itself. However, one thought always lingered in my mind, that how a one–day course could bring miracles. I started experimenting with others because I knew there was no harm in putting my hand on their affected part. If he gets cured, then good.

My first patient was Group Captain Ajit Tyagi. He was suffering from gastric troubles for many months. He had heard about Reiki too, so he requested me to help him and I was happy that I would get an opportunity to give Reiki.

It took more than 15 days and 15 minutes each day. Sometimes he would tell me “Yes, I am feeling better”. But after 21 days he had no complaints about any gastric trouble.

I thought, I should do the second degree in Reiki too. The course led to a phenomenal change in my outlook towards life. Since then I have been giving Reiki to help cure people. Here are a few of my experiences.

It was Diwali day 2 years back. That evening my friend Squadron Leader Srivastav came with his 5 years old son Umang who had been complaining of ear pain since morning. By evening it had become unbearable and the child was crying in pain. He had an appointment with a doctor for the next day. As they stopped at my house, they requested me to give Reiki. I took the boy, kept my hands on his ears, for about 3 minutes and after that they left. I forgot about the incident after that. Next day Squadron Leader Srivastav came and told me that Umang was completely relieved of pain in the ear immediately after I kept my hands over his ear. A lot of wax came out of his ear and the boy never complained about ear pain again.

Mrs. Meera Kulkarni, suffering from toothache, had been to Dentist. She was told that her tooth had to be extracted, but it could be done only after her toothache had subsided. She was prescribed some medicines but was unwilling to take them as it led to acidity. Wing Commander Kulkarni and Mrs. Kulkarni came to my house in the afternoon. I casually mentioned about Reiki and I gave her Reiki when she requested me to. Next day she called me to tell that she was relieved of her pain. After that at her leisure she got the tooth extracted.

There are many incidents of sprains, toothache, backache etc, where all that was needed was 3 to 4 minutes of Reiki and gradually the person would get cured. I really don’t know the science behind how Reiki works but it does help people to get cured.
