The Cardiac Center is equipped with the latest computerized Stress testing facility which has been specially imported from the USA.
24 Hour–Holter Monitoring
We also have a computerized Holter Analysing system which is capable of analysing 24 hour ECG.’s and this procedure is now routinely carried out for monitoring arrythmias.
2Dimensional Echo Cardiography
2Dimensional Echo Cardiogrphy enables us to non invasively diagnose with precision cardia conditions in the Pediatric and adult age groups. This has been functioning in our heart unit for the last 3 years.
Computerised Cardiac Output Monitoring Unit.
A recent addition to our unit has been a thermodilution Cardiac Computer which enables us to monitor cardiac output using Swan Ganz Cardiac Catheters on the bed side of the patients.
We have 35 Private rooms and 25 General rooms in addition to 10 Intensive Coronary Care beds, exclusively for CARDIAC Patients. These rooms are all centrally air–conditioned. All these important aspects of patient care and attention helps to minimize the stress which quite common when people have to go into hospital. This elimination of Stress offers a great aid to recovery and reflects our commitment to the community we serve.
