Your kitchen is a storehouse of beauty. Here’s why...
When it comes to buying expensive beauty products from the market, women are spoilt for choice. But then, do we really need to look far when we have a storehouse of beauty at our disposal? That’s right, our very own kitchen provides us with enough natural products that can be used to enhance one’s beauty.
Walnuts make for excellent exfoliators. To exfoliate your skin, blend 1/4th cup shelled walnuts with half cup olive oil and a tablespoon of honey. Use this fine–particle scrub the next time you’re in the bath and feel the difference!
For cracked heels, take some amount of coconut oil or olive oil and heat it slightly. Add 2–3 teaspoons of turmeric and apply it on the cracked heels.
Want glowing skin like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s? Take a slice of ripe papaya and mash it thoroughly. Take a teaspoon of honey, mix it well and apply it all over your face and neck. Let it dry and then wash it off with lukewarm water. And then, glow baby glow!
Squeeze the juice of half an orange and add 1/4th cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup olive oil to it. This can be used as a moisture–rich scrub to exfoliate dry spots like elbows and knees. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Take two teaspoons of honey and combine it with 1/4th cup finely ground oatmeal. Add some buttermilk to it. Blend everything well and apply on your face for ten minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water for an instant glow.
Mix four teaspoons of olive oil with two eggs and apply it on your hair. Leave this mixture on for 20 minutes and then wash it off. Silky, shiny hair is at your service!
