As compared to regular mangoes, the sugar content in these is 75% less, said BB Ram, director, state horticulture department.
The researchers said they are studying the prospects of developing the variety in India that could earn them lot of foreign exchange.
"This is an exotic variety brought from Florida. We are at present researching. We can grow it here, it will earn us good foreign exchange," Ram said.
