Women's Day: Hospitals to Organise Check-up Camps

TO mark International Women’s Day, several hospitals and health centres in the city will organise check–up camps specifically for women on Monday.
KEM Hospital will conduct ‘pap smear and bone mineral density tests’ and haemoglobin and blood sugar tests. The tests will be done free of cost for the first 50 women who register their names, said a release.
Free check–up camps have also been organised at the Sahyadri Hospital, Bopodi and Bharati Hospital, Dhankawadi. Kamala Nehru Hospital and the Mental Hospital, Yerawada, will conduct workshops on the Pre–conception and Pre–natal Diagnostic Techniques Act of 1994.
